Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina will depart from Beijing, China on Wednesday (July 10)
at 6 pm Bangladeshi time.
The
Bangladeshi premier had arrived in Beijing on Monday (July 9) on a four-day
visit. Initially, it was planned that she would return to Bangladesh on
Thursday morning (July 11). However, the trip has been shortened, and she will
depart on Wednesday night.
Dr
Hasan Mahmud, the Foreign Minister said this in a press briefing in Beijing.
He
said, “This adjustment does not affect her official schedule; the only change
is that she will return tonight instead of tomorrow morning as originally
planned.”
During
the Beijing visit, Bangladesh and
China have inked 21 documents, including two extended Memorandums of
Understanding (MoUs), and announced seven more projects aimed at promoting
their "comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership" above their
previous "strategic partnership."
